The iNPUT-ACE team has been collecting feedback from users like you and putting it to work to improve the tools and functionality of our platform. We are happy to announce the release of Version 2.2.0. Here are some of the changes you can look forward to after updating.
The new Rotate Node allows you to easily rotate video during a workflow. The node is located under the Filters dropdown
and can be used to rotate video clips or still images horizontally, vertically, clockwise, or counterclockwise to whatever degree you require.
Narrative Report Templates
The Narrative Report now contains prebuilt template reports that can be loaded to expedite the production of a BOLO, Missing Persons Alert, Person of Interest Alert, or a Forensic Video Analysis Report. Customize the templates with your agency’s logo, your CV, a dynamic Table of Contents, custom title pages, and more. Just load one of the templates on the File Tab in your Narrative Report Tool and you can start streamlining your report building process right away. See the example below for a couple of example templates that are available in this release:
File List Icon Changes: Subclips and Markers
Easily distinguish between Marked Images and Subclips with the new File List icons. Video Files, Markers, and Subclips now have unique icons helping to save you time when you are working on a project.
These are just some of the notable changes in Version 2.2.0. You will also see:
- Improved framerate calculations and settings for multi-stream files and subclips
- Several updates to the fonts and paragraph spacing in the Narrative Report tool
- Improved launchtimes for offline users with network storage
- Improved “undo” action on the Narrative Report
- And more!
We plan to keep putting your ideas and suggestions to work for all our users, so watch for more improvements soon. But for now, update your iNPUT-ACE software to start taking advantage of all the improvements.
