How long does my presentation need to be?
Each session will be 90 minutes long, however some sessions may include a panel or group of presenters. This means your presentation should not be longer than 90 minutes, but we welcome stories and submissions that only require 10-30 minutes as well.
If my presentation is selected, will I receive complimentary registration to the 2021 Video Evidence Symposium?
Yes, if you are selected to speak, we will provide you with complimentary registration for the entire symposium.
Can I promote any products or services during my presentation?
No. The focus of this event is education and we do not allow the promotion of products and services during educational sessions. Speakers may talk about products and services that have been used to solve a problem or address the presentation topic. Whenever possible, presenters should suggest alternative products and services as well.
How will presentations be made?
The 2021 Video Evidence is entirely online, which means you will be presenting over the internet. You will need a good microphone and webcam, plus we encourage screen sharing to show any presentation slides or software you use during the presentation. Our tech team will work with you in advance to ensure you are comfortable with our system.
