This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes the information that iNPUT-ACE and any subsidiary or affiliate of iNPUT ACE (collectively, “we”, “us”, and “our”), collects or shares in connection with the operation and use of its websites, mobile applications, widgets, plug-ins, APIs or any of our wholly owned platforms or services that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”).  This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected through our Site. It does not govern the data practices of third parties that may interact with our Site, nor does it apply to information collected through other channels, such as over the phone or in person.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason.  Please take a few minutes to review this Policy before using the Site.  In addition to this Policy, please review the Site’s “Terms of Use”, which governs your use of the Site.  By accessing and using our Site, you are consenting to our Privacy Policy.   If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy, please do not provide us with any Personal Information and do not further access or use the Site.

What Information We Collect & How We Collect It

We may from time-to-time collect and receive certain information about you as you interact with our Site, as explained in this section.

Information You Provide Us

In general, you can visit the Site without revealing Personal Information (as defined below) about yourself.  However, on the Site, we may ask you to provide us, or our service providers, with certain categories of information, such as: (1) personally identifiable information, such as your first and last name, phone number, username and password, mailing address, birth date and email address (“Personal Information”); and (2) demographic information, such as information about your gender and company information (“Demographic Information”).  We may collect this information through various forms and in various places on the Site, including if you register for an account, subscribe to our blog, sign up for online training, through “contact us” forms, or when you otherwise interact with the Site.  If we combine Demographic Information with the Personal Information, we collect directly from you on the Site, we will treat the combined data as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected and Stored as You Access and Use the Site

In addition to any Personal Information or other information that you choose to submit to us via our Site, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically (or passively) store or collect certain information whenever you visit or interact with the Site (“Usage Information”). This Usage Information may be stored or accessed using a variety of technologies that may be downloaded to your personal computer, browser, laptop, tablet, mobile phone or other device (a “Device”) whenever you visit or interact with our Site.  To the extent we associate Usage Information with your Personal Information we collect directly from you on the Site, we will treat it as Personal Information.

This Usage Information may include:

  • your IP address, UDID or another unique identifier (“Device Identifier”). A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device used to access the Site, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier;
  • your Device functionality (including browser, operating system, hardware, mobile network information);
  • the areas within our Site that you visit and your activities there, including remembering you and your preferences;
  • recorded browsing sessions while on our Site;
  • your Device location;
  • your Device characteristics; and
  • certain other Device data, including the time of day, among other information.

We may use various methods and technologies to store or collect Usage Information (“Tracking Technologies”). Tracking Technologies may set, change, alter or modify settings or configurations on your Device. The information we collect using tracking technologies is not, in and of itself, personally identifiable, but we may link it to personal information that you provide with other data we maintain about you.  A few of the Tracking Technologies used on the Site, include, without limitation, the following (and subsequent technology and methods later developed):

We use various types of cookies to help us support features and functionality of this Site, collect information about the ways visitors use this Site, personalize your experience when you use this Site, and Improve our marketing efforts. We may use Tracking Technologies for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Strictly Necessary.We may use cookies or other Tracking Technologies that we consider are strictly necessary to allow you to use and access our Site, including cookies required to prevent fraudulent activity, improve security or allow you to make use of certain Site functionality.
  • Performance-Related.We may use cookies or other Tracking Technologies that are useful in order to assess the performance of the Site, including as part of our analytic practices or otherwise to improve the content, ads, products or services offered through the Site.

Location-Based Information

Our Site may use location-based services in order to verify your location, deliver you relevant content and ads based on your location as well as to share your location with our vendors as part of the location-based services we offer. Information Third Parties Provide About You

We may, from time to time, supplement the information we collect directly from you on our Site with outside records from third parties for various purposes, including to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities that may be of interest to you. To the extent we combine information we receive from those sources with Personal Information we collect on the Site, it will be treated as Personal Information and we will apply this Privacy Policy to such combined information, unless we have disclosed otherwise.  In no other circumstances do our statements under this Privacy Policy apply to information we receive about you from third parties, even if they have used our technology to collect it and share it with us.

The Site may include functionality that allows certain kinds of interactions between the Site and a third-party website, online service or application. How We Use the Information We Collect

As a general policy, iPUT ACE  does not share, sell or trade Personal Information collected via the Sites with third parties without permission from the user.  However, we may provide your Personal Information to third parties directly involved in the operation, performance, support, hosting and/or maintenance of the Site and any of the services which we provide.  Any Personal Information will be used by such organizations only to perform their functions and/or to provide services in support of the Sites, and as otherwise permitted by law or approved by you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Carefully Selected Third Parties Providing Services on our Behalf

We may use carefully selected third-party vendors to perform certain services on behalf of us or the Site, such as: (i) to assist us in Site operations; (ii) to manage a database of customer information; (iii) hosting the Site; (iv) designing and/or operating the Site’s features; (v) tracking the Site’s activities and analytics; (vi) enabling us to send you special offers or perform other administrative services; and (vii) other services designed to assist us in maximizing our business potential.  We may provide these vendors with access to user information, including Device Identifiers and Personal Information, to carry out the services they are performing for you or for us. Third-party analytics and other service providers may set and access their own Tracking Technologies on your Device and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you, potentially including Personal Information, about you.

We are not responsible for those third-party technologies or activities arising out of them. However, some may offer you certain choices regarding their practices and provide opt-out options.  We are not responsible for the effectiveness of or compliance with any third-parties’ opt-out options.

To Protect the Rights of iNPUT-ACE and Others

We may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose your information (including Device Identifiers and Personal Information) to third parties: (i) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoenas, governmental requests or legal process if in our good faith opinion such is required or permitted by law; (ii) to protect and/or defend the Site’s “Terms of Use” or other policies applicable to the Site, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (iii) to protect the safety, rights, property or security of the Site or any third party; and/or (iv) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. Further, we may use IP address or other Device Identifiers to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with third parties such as copyright owners, internet service providers, wireless service providers and/or law enforcement agencies, including disclosing such information to third parties, all in our discretion, subject to applicable law. Such disclosures may be carried out without notice to you.

Affiliates and Business Transfer

We reserve the right to assign or transfer your Personal Information to any successor in interest to our business associated with the Sites including, but not limited to, by merger, reorganization, consolidation, sale of all or substantially all of our assets or equity interests or operation of law.  We may share your information, including your Device Identifiers and Personal Information, Demographic Information and Usage Information with our subsidiaries and affiliates. We also reserve the right to disclose and transfer all such information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Site or applicable database; or (ii) in connection with a merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all of our interests and/or assets or other corporate change, including, during the course of any due diligence process.

In Aggregate or Deidentified Form

We use information collected through this Site to create a compiled, aggregate view of usage patterns.  We may share aggregate information with third parties so we and they can better understand our user base. We may also share with third parties, information about how particular individuals use this Site, but only on a de-identified basis (“Individualized Data”).  Individualized Data is non-identified, but it does reflect the usage patterns of a particular Site user, as opposed to Site users collectively.  We may provide basic demographic information (gender and age) in conjunction with providing Individualized Data.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Data storage and transfer

Your information collected through our website is stored and processed in the United States.  It also may be stored or processed in any other country in which we or our service providers maintain facilities.  If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which we or our service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. To the extent that we transfer any Personal Information to third parties, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that such third parties to whom we may transfer any Personal Information have knowledge of our Privacy Policy and provide sufficient protection of such Personal Information.

Keeping your information safe

We care about the security of your information and use commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological security safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through our website.  Such security safeguards are intended to be appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information collected.  However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Online Tracking and Advertising

We may share, or we may permit third party online advertising networks, social media networks or other third party services, to collect information about your use of our website over time so that they may play or display ads that may be relevant to your interests on our Sites as well as on other websites or apps, or on other devices you may use. This information is used to display targeted ads on or through our Site or on other sites and services, including on Facebook and Google.  We or the online advertising networks use this information to make the advertisements you see online more relevant to your interests. You may be able set your browser to delete or notify you of cookies and other tracking technology by actively managing the settings on your browser or mobile device.  You may also be able to limit interest-based advertising through the settings on your browser or device.

Does Third-Party Content, Links to Third-Party Sites and/or Third-Party Apps Appear on the Site?

The Site may contain content, links or apps that are supplied by a third party, and those third parties may collect Usage Information and your Device Identifier when pages from the Site are served to you for their own commercial purposes. We are not responsible for the data collection and privacy practices employed by any of these third parties or their sites or apps and they may be tracking you across multiple online services and may be sharing the results of that tracking with us and/or others. You should be aware that such other third-party sites to which you hyperlink from the Site may contain privacy statements that differ from our Privacy Policy.  We encourage you to read and understand such privacy policies and terms of use of any linked websites accessed by you.  If you decide to access such linked websites and/or provide any Personal Information to such linked websites, you do so entirely at your own risk. Retention of Your Personal Information

We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.  For example, we keep your account profile information for as long as you have an active service or account with us, but we may keep your historical transaction data longer to comply with legal obligations.

You may have the right to request: (i) access to your Personal Information (both the categories of data we collect, which is laid out in this policy, and particular types); (ii) an electronic copy of your Personal Information; or (iii) correction of your Personal Information, if it is incomplete or inaccurate.  If you have a request regarding your Personal Information that cannot be fulfilled from your account management settings on the Site, please contact us.  We may require you to provide additional documentation regarding your request for verification purposes before changing or deleting your information.  Such written requests should be sent to the contact information found in the “Contact Us” section provided below.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly market to, collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 on the Site.  In accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we do not knowingly request or solicit personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.  In the event that we receive actual knowledge that that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13 without the required parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as is reasonably possible.

What About Changes to the Privacy Policy?

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time.  Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy.  As a result, your use of our Site indicates your consent to the privacy policy posted at the time of your use.  However, we will not use your previously collected Personal Information in a manner materially different than represented at the time it was collected without your consent.  To the extent any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or arbiter, such provision shall be severed to the extent necessary for the remainder to be valid and enforceable.
